Allah ﷻ says, النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَأَزْوَاجُهُ أُمَّهَاتُهُمْ ۗ "The prophet (should) be more important for the believers than themselves and their wives are their mothers." (QS: Al-Ahzab | Verse: 6). This verse explains that the wives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were his mother of believers. Rasulullah ﷺ has 11 wives.
